The head to head series between the world number 76 and Sanchez have gone 2-0 to the Spaniard whose first win against Mayr dates from the 2009 Bogota. On doubles, pair Eva Birnerova and Lucie Hradecka saved match point to Gajdosova and Julia Goerges whom they eventually defeated 4-6, 6-2, 12-10.
