"Landep News"
LG has been absolutely nowhere in the world of smartphone powerhouses this year, and the carpet from right underneath them has been literally ripped off from the likes of the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S II, arguably the two best handsets on the market right now. In case you were wondering though, LG does have a plan this 2011, after a roadmap of their future handsets has been leaked online.
The names of the leaked handsets are unfortunately not very imaginative, and they are as follows; the LG Fantasy (image, right), the LG Univa, the LG Victor and the LG Gelato. Out of the handsets, two appear to be low – middle range with the Univa and Gelato packing 800MHz processor’a and Android Gingerbread whilst the Victor will pack a 1GHz single core. Interestingly, the LG Fantasy will run Windows Phone Mango meaning we finally know what LG’s successor will be to the LG Optimus 7, LG’s first stab at the Windows Phone 7 operating system.
