Milwaukee have grabbed a clear leading position in the Central Conference after rallying past Giants 4-2 last night at the AT&T Park where Shaun Marcum’s tremendous start helped the visitors score three points within the second inning.
Giants took the first lead early in the first inning only to be left two points behind in the next one. Sandoval grounded to pitcher as Torres scored the first point of the night, which could only trigger Brewers’ four-point midway run. Betancourt doubled to left as Fielder evened the situation with McGehee getting to third. Lucroy then singled to left, allowing the same McGehee and Betancourt to put their side two points ahead of the losing pace San Francisco.
The next three innings went scoreless for both sides, while the sixth one saw Betancourt single to left and Weeks draw the clear victory. Giants broke back immediately through Rowand who fired the only 372-foot homerun of the night. Despite that the hosts were not able to go ahead of Milwaukee who managed to keep the sheet clean until the end.

Nationals eased past Dodgers last night at the Dodger stadium after managing to set an early three-point lead and score other four within the last term. Morse doubled to left as Zimmerman scored the first point of the clash in the first inning. The second one saw Lannan hit a 376 footer and Desmond make it 3-0.

But that was the best the hosts could do in front of a great shaped Detroit who would power through to a six-point midway rally. Peralta singled to center as Jackson and Ordonez made it 4-1 with Martinez getting to second. Kansas City Royals 10 – 4 Tampa Bay Rays
Royals grabbed a big win last night at the Kauffman Stadium where the visitors crashed Rays whom they dominated at all facets. Rays grabbed the first lead of the game in the first inning through Damon, but from then on they wouldn’t be able to stay in touch with the victory. Royals evened the early situation in the same first inning when Gordon made it 1-1 from Cabrebra’s double.
Furthermore, Hosmer doubled to left as the same Cabrera out his side one point ahead in what seemed to be the turning point of the clash. Royals made it even 3-1 through Hosmer as things started to look pretty clear. The second inning went scoreless for both sides, while the third one saw Butler hit a 429-foot homerun for a three-point advantage.
The fourth round also went dry as Rays were still struggling for a comeback. Unfortunately, it was the same Kansas to score yet another point in the fifth through Francoeur. Rays then scored three points in a row including two homeruns fired by Longoria and Joyce in the sixth term. But that could only trigger Royals’ late run. Cabrera singled to left as Getz made it 6-4, while Cabrera and Butler scored a couple of more points within the same sixth round.
Finally Cabrera singled to center as Treanor made it 9-4 and Butler reached on infield single to shortstop, permitting Getz to close out the meeting with a clear win and a tenth point.
