Baltimore were the first to take a 2-0 lead early in the second term, but only to be stunned by a ten-point trot right afterwards. Reynolds opened the game with a 413 foot homer, being followed by Guerrero. Texas broke back immediately through Young who cut the deficit to one point after Murphy singled to center.

Murphy doubled to center and Cruz scored his first point in the seventh term, being followed by Murphy who made it 12-3 right afterwards.

He caught a curve ball and got us a big double. That’s nice when you put extra guys in and they can supply you with some offense,” said manager Ron Washington.
