TVS Indonesia released the TurboMax step-through in May this year which has a new 3-valve 150cc engine. The TurboMax features a one of a kind switch which enables the rider to choose between two different exhaust notes, basically enabling the rider to either connect or release the muffler from the end can. The reason behind reminding you about these features is that the TurboMax step-through has now been spotted by an IndianMotosBlog.com reader in Chennai. The picture here shows 2 TurboMax mules being tested which could mean that a local launch is highly likely. If you look at the pictures, nothing similar exists in the Indian market for now as the TurboMax comes with a scooter's frame with bigger wheels giving it the comfort and practicality of a scooter, but the ride and handling of a motorcycle. We assume such a product fills the gaps between a scooter and motorcycles perfectly. Could TVS position this two-wheeler between the Jive and the Wego?
