Barca favorite in Neymar's services

FC Barcelona join Real Madrid for Neymar’s services, according to the player’s agent Wagner Ribeiro who has confirmed that the European champions have also become favorites for the youngster’s signature.

The news comes after the 19-yaer-old striker revealed he would like to join Jose Mourinho’s side next winter. Real Madrid are willing to pay Santos the proper amount ‘now’, while the Catalans, who have spent most of their money this transfer window, said they would acquire Neymar next season. “The exact situation is as follows: Barcelona want him next year and will pay next year, Madrid want him now and are prepared to pay now,” said Ribeiro.

Between the two Spanish champions, Neymar prefers Real, according to the same agent who revealed that the player is more likely to arrive on Santiago Bernabeu. “The numbers being talked about by both clubs (Madrid and Barcelona) are good, but Neymar would prefer a move to Madrid,” he added. FC Barcelona are also expecting a favorable answer from Arsenal regarding Cesc Frabegras status. The Spaniard is desperate to make the return to Camp Nou, but the Gunners are not willing to sell him that easy. The Catalans initial offer was turned down, something which forced them to improve it to a reported 40 million pounds. Even so, the Londoners, who lost Clichy last month, are keen to keep Cesc for at least one more year.
