Blast in Istanbul
Israeli daily Haaretz presents an interesting point of view about the explosion in May near an Istanbul market, which, until now the Turks ascribed it to the Kurdistan Worker’s Party.
Thus, quoting Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, the Israeli daily says that the attack may have been in fact an attempt of Hezbollah and Iran to assassinate an Israeli envoy to Turkey, and was preceded by a warning of the Israeli intelligence services, to be precise, of the Counterterrorism Bureau, which issued a series of travel warnings by which it cautioned the Israelis who traveled abroad to be careful because terrorist attacks were staged against Jew in countries like Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Malta.
Corriere della Sera quotes its “Middle East sources” when it says that the blast that killed six on May 26 was an attempt of Hezbollah to kill Moshe Kimchi, Israeli consul to Istanbul.

Blast in Istanbul
The attack was staged by Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran, in order to avenge the deaths of two Iranian nuclear physicists, whose demise was blamed by Iran on Israel, even though the Jewish state assumed no responsibility.
The Italian newspaper quoted by Haaretz says that the explosives were set by three men who are believed to be working for the Iranian intelligence. They were Lebanese nationals, and entered Turkey with Iranian passports.
The failure to kill Kimchi is due to the security detail protecting him and to the measures of the local security agencies.
The car Kimchi was driving in went slower that day and that is how he got away alive.
Turkish authorities considered until now that the attacks were staged by PKK in order to temper with the parliamentary elections.
