Another case of incest is about to shock Austria as a man has been arrested under the accusation of imprisoning and sexually abusing his daughters for 40 years. The man, who is 80 years old now denies the abuses that allegedly started when his first daughter was 12 and the other was four.
Police said that the case was brought to their attention in May, when the women escaped the imprisonment by knocking in the head her father as he was preparing to abuse her. The name of the new Austrian monster was not released yet. The state prosecutor will have to decide whether to prosecute him or not based on the evidence presented by the police.
The two women, 53 and 45, were found at their residence at St Peter am Hart village, near the city of Braunau, Hitler’s hometown, and are said to have “mental deficiencies.”
The Austrian media said that there were similarities and “echoes” of the famous Joseph Fritzl case, in which a man imprisoned his daughter and raped her, fathering seven children with her. However, this case seems to have no children resulted out of it.
The man has remained incapacitated for two days after the hard blow he suffered after he fell, and was found by a social worker and taken to the hospital, where he received medical care. On Thursday he was arrested and moved from the hospital to the prison.
He is believed to have imprisoned, abused and constantly threatened his daughters with a pitchfork and a stick.
Police considers that they were allowed some degree of contact with the outside world, but they were threatened not to speak to anyone about their tragedy. They were kept in the kitchen and slept on a bench.
It is believed that the mother, who passed away three years ago, was also subjected to abuse. The people in St Peter am Hart were appalled to read in the Krone newspaper about such an ordeal happening in their community.
Except for Fritzl, there was another case of kidnapping and abuse against a 23-year-old woman in Austria, at the hands of Wolfgang Priklopil, who kept her prisoner for more than eight years.
