Rangers win eighth straight
West Conference leaders Rangers managed to keep the sheet clean against Mariners last night at the Safeco Field where Seattle could only witness their own ruining and concede their 24th home loss.
Hamilton brought Rangers the first lead early in the first inning with a 386-foot homerun, being followed by Cruz who doubled the advantage with a 356 footer in the second round. The third term saw the same visitors score a third point through Andrus who gave Rangers a three-point lead after Young singled to left. He had his breaking ball, he moved it around, he elevated, he threw down, he moved their feet. He pitched very well tonight.”
