Superstar Rajinikanth is a much relaxed actor these days after giving away a stupendous success with Endhiran. All these days he has always refrained from giving interviews to TV channels but he gave an exclusive interview to Sun Tv this Diwali.
Uththamaputhiran was released on Diwali but the filmdom watched the film couple of days ahead of its release i.e on November 3, 2010 in Four Frames Preview Theater as usual.
The special show was arranged at 6:45 PM which was attended by superstar himself with his two daughters Aishwarya Dhanush, Soundarya Ashwin and Latha Rajinikanth. 
Actor Vivek, Y G Mahendran, his wife Mrs. Y G Parthasarathy, music director Vijay Antony were also present at the screening of the special show.
