A contestant in China’s Super Girl, He Jie, contest last year was injured in a car crash yesterday, that required 20 stitches to her forehead.
The car accident happened at around 3am on a highway to Beijing from a program assignment she had just completed.
Her assistant and publicist were also injured though not seriously.
She will lose about 1 million yuan ($25,000) for each cancelled appearance here representative said.
Her rep didn’t say anything about "I’m glad she is still alive so we mooch off her for however long."
Not too much good news comes at 3am in the morning, now does it?
It reminds me of an old fellow who was told by a bank clerk that if he had an ATM card he could get money 24/7, even in the middle of the night.
He replied, "Honey, whatever I would want money for at 2am in the morning, I don’t NEED money for at that hour."
