Bihar Assembly elections are finally over and now the eyes are set on November 24, the day on which the counting is scheduled to take place. But there the elections ended pretty badly.
According to the sources, two policemen and few more were killed while the police were defusing a bomb in the final phase of the elections near Londa village, Gaya (district). Those who were killed include a Bihar military police constable and a homeguard and nine others. Three media persons were also injured in the explosion.
There has been 52 per cent of overall turnout for the voting, which is actually a good number as the people dared to vote even after getting threats from the Maoists.
Bihar can be called as a tough zone as far as politics is concerned. Tough because the region still has concerns related to caste factors.
