Nexus One to get Android 2.3 Gingerbread Update?

Good news for Nexus One users! Open Handset Alliance (OHA) team member, Alvaro Fuentes Vasquez, has confirmed that Nexus One will get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update in next few days.

Here’s what he has tweeted on his Twitter account –

It roughly translates as -

Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) for the next few days

Samsung and Google are planning to launch the Nexus Two/ Nexus S with Android 2.3 OS. Also, Google team has not rolled out the Android 2.3 SDK for developers. Now, this news looks like a rumor, but you never know what’s going to happen in the future.
