Arjun Kapoor the son of filmmaker Boney Kapoor from his wife Mona is all set to hit the big screen with his debut film under the Yash Raj banners instead of his fathers tag. Boney Kapoor wanted to launch his son in Mr. India 2 but as things did not come out too well too soon therefore Arjun took up the YR banner. Boney Kapoor in 2008 had a dispute with Yash Chopra about the casting of his wife Sridevi.
Yash Chopra wanted that the actress be cast in a flick along with Amitabh Bachchan under his banner however Boney refused since he wanted to cast Sridevi only with his production firm instead of any other.
Talking it out Amar Singh tried to convince Boney about the entire thing but the filmmaker refused to give in. This situation took place long while back and today it is utmost true that Arjuns launch under the trusted banner of Yash Raj is a much better launch pad then many other options.
This option is also fine with Boney since he is also a father who wants the best for his boy. But does this fair acceptance truly mean that the tiffs between the two are over. With the official announcement soon to hit the floor about Arjun’s casting Boney is also very pleased about the bright future of his son.
A spokes person from Yash Raj informed that Arjun has been taken up for a movie under the banner of Yash Raj and that there are no ill feelings that the two filmmakers share as both are thorough professional
