The Tamil movie Mankatha starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Sneha, Lakshmi Rai, Ganesh Venkatraman and Premji Amaren will be released on Eid, August 31, 2011.
The movie is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri and Vivek Rathnavel. Music is directed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Ajith Plays a negative role named Vinayak Mahadevan and Arjun plays the role of C.I.D Officer.
Mankatha is a non-stop action thriller which revolves around the match fixing sagas in international cricket matches. The movie is all about Mystery & Suspense, Drama, Action & Adventure all in one.
Mankatha is likely to become the biggest ever multi-starer film of Tamil Cinema.
The story of the movie is about a Mafia gambling gang during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.
The maker of the movie, Dhayanidhi Azhagiri has said that the movie will released across the world release with subtitles in English and would simultaneously release in United Kingdom, USA, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Australia and in Middle East and Europe.
