Sun Pictures, which tasted a huge success and moolah with its mega budget film Endhiran, is keen on producing more such big budget films.
If sources are to be believed yet another big milestone film in Indian cinema is on the verge of birth.
The news that is doing rounds in kollywood is that Sun Pictures is likely to produce yet another huge budget film of ace director Mani Ratnam.
Mani’s next film may be based on the popular novel Ponniyin Selvan which has five parts and running into several thousands of pages. Mani had picked out 80 scenes out of thousands to make it into a wholesome entertainer. 
Coming to the crew who may be the part of this prestigious project are Mani Ratnam, Kamal Hassan, Vikram, Suriya, AR Rahman and Vairamuthu.
While Kamal has not given the go-ahead for this film, Vikram and Suriya have almost said ‘yes’ as they want to be a part of this film.
