If you like defense, you wouldn’t have liked this one. If you like scoring and offense, you would have loved Illinois’ visit to Michigan today.
The Wolverines pulled it off 67-65 in three overtimes in a game that featured over 1,200 yards of total offense.
And Denard Robinson sat for the end of it. The Michigan quarterback was just a spectator as Tate Forcier rallied the Wolverines in the fourth quarter and then led them to bowl eligibility with 22 points in the extra frames.
The 132-point game was the highest-scoring game of the year in major college football and in the 131-year history of Michigan football.
