The hottest and exciting topic making rounds in the Tollywood circuit is the marriage of Allu Arjun. On the surface, it is a regular love story between a boy and girl of two different communities and two powerful families. However, another point is being made by few sharp observers.

The buzz about Allu Arjun’s marriage gets a different angle. Apparently, Bunny is a Kapu and Sneha is a Reddy. Given the shambles that Praja Rajyam Party is in right now, an association with a relatively stronger Reddy community seems to be on the cards. To add to this, even the Congress party is dominated by Reddys.

  

 

So, the talk is that this marriage could also mean a political alliance and betterment for the Kapu community. However, the fact remains that the wretched caste feeling has been dug deep into the cultures of our people so a marriage like this may not bring about much of a change, say one section of intellectuals.
