BUYER
(Jawa Timur - Surabaya)

Responsibilities:

• Review proposal/projects requirement, provides purchase and sourcing strategies along with Project Coordinator, develop right portfolio of suppliers, provides price/cost information for achieving material cost competitiveness, develop allocated proposal costing, and to insure that lowest total cost is obtained in both proposal and contract execution including the proper management of risk and implementation of appropriate terms and conditions. He/she is also responsible for on time delivery and quality of all supplier contract deliverables relating to goods/services and document

Requirements:

• Five (5) years experience in a strategic sourcing role in an industrial environment
• Experience in Power Generation or related businesses
• Able to work in a multicultural environment, experience in interacting with Engineers
• Proven strong negotiation & legal skills
• Knowledge of relevant suppliers markets and low cost country sourcing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP computer software
• Proficient in English, both written and oral
• Willing to be located in Surabaya
