The Wii U may only just be around the corner however talks about the Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 (?) haven’t been that high, despite our very recent coverage regarding this Playstation 4 concept which looked amazing. This latest news then isn’t following on from what could be, but is in fact about the director of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Todd Howard, who has said that we will not be seeing the PS4 or Xbox 720 until 2014.
Not wanting to delve to deep, Howard told magazine PSM3 that consumers are currently ‘very happy’ with the current generation of gaming consoles, and releasing updates to them right now would be too soon. On the Subject, and when asked of their release, Howard said:
“I think it’s going to be a while still, I really do. I think consumers are happy with the current ones, there’s a lot you can do with them. So I don’t think it’s coming next year or the year after”.
