Kansas leveled the score in the same term through Escobar, but Boston ere still looking decided to pick a clear win at the Kauffman. So the visitors powered through to a three point rally right afterwards. Crawford singled to center as Pedroia brought back a minimal advantage for Red Sox, while McDonald hit a sacrifice fly to right for Reddick’s third one.
The fifth inning went scoreless for the two teams, while the sixth one saw Saltalamacchia end the session making it 4-1. From then on things would go from bad to worse for the favorites as Royals stunned their opponents as well as their 28,000 warmly crowd with a sixth term eight point run.
