St. Louis Cardinals 2 – 13 Los Angeles Dodgers
Dodgers crashed Cardinals last night at the Busch stadium where the visitors scored all their points in a row. St. Louis were only allowed to score a couple of consolation points in what was one of their biggest defeats recently. Kemp opened the game with a 455 foot homerun, while Sellers and Loney propelled their side three points ahead of the hosts right afterwards.
Things started to look much worse for Cardinals who would concede four more points only in the second round. Sellers doubled to left allowing Carroll o make it four, while Loney singled to center for Sellers’ fifth one. Rivera then singled to center for Loney and Kemp’s sixth and seventh points.
Barajas extended the lead to nine points after hitting a 391 foot homerun in the third inning and yet another 391 footer in the fifth. Ethier and Miles put their side into a 11 point advantage the Cardinals couldn’t break at all.
Finally, Miles, who fired a 413 foot homerun, and Ethier made things look clear as possible, scoring a 13th point for Los Angeles who surely did not expect such a big win against the second best side in the Central Conference.

Cincinnati overcame a 2-5 deficit to Marlins last night at the Sun Life to beat Florida thanks to a very late comeback which saw them score four points in a row only in the ninth term. Alonso started the game with a 377 foot homerun, the lead being doubled right afterwards by Phillips, following Alonso’s singling.
But things got complicated for the Reds when Florida powered through to a five point midway rally. Dobbs hit a sacrifice fly to left as Bonifacio cut the deficit to one point in the fifth inning. Stanton brought the leveler in the same inning and after Infante singled to center.
Florida went even further to take a three point lead in the sixth term thanks to Bonifacio, who fired a 390 foot homerun, and Buck who made it 5-2 in what was the turning point of the meeting. Cincinnati cut the deficit to one point through Bruce, who hit a 403 footer, and Sappelt.
Meanwhile, Marlins were still struggling to retain the lead and draw the victory, but they could only lose pace when counted the most. Bonifacio hit a sacrifice fly to center, allowing Buck to make it 6-4 and give his side some confidence for the last plays.
