IE 9 Adorned with New Anti-Tracking Feature

Internet Explorer 9 is experiencing huge competition from its contemporaries. But, this prevailing competition is not pulling it back hard and zooming faster than earlier. For this, now it is added another new feature anti-tracking for the improved privacy.

Currently users over the internet experiencing online tracking and this tracking will be used for power behavioral advertising. Now, this added feature will inform the browser permitted and prohibited third-party content quite easily.

Here, this anti-tracking feature will provide the tracking protection lists through the opt-in facility. Microsoft conformed that it will not provide this tracking list protection itself and needs the user to choose the option.

Sometimes third parties will come forward to provide this tracking protection list to the users. These lists are worth enough if come through privacy advocacy groups or ad-blocking advocates or individual enthusiasts.

Generally, these tracking protection lists will update themselves automatically on every week. Here, IE 9 already equipped with needed features for this purpose such as InPrivate, Filtering and tracking device.

This tracking protection lists specifics are not finalized yet by the Microsoft. Currently, a file format has been chosen for this purpose. Exact specifications will be soon available under a Creative Common Attribution License.
