Shorr the upcoming flick under the great banner of Alt Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures recently received the honor that films sort for and that was a standing ovation at the US premier of the during the tenth annual film festival of Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council in the beautiful New York city.
The grand screening worked up from the red carpet to the pre screening toast and then followed up to the theater in midtown Manhattan called SVA Silas and the entire team was put on a conclusive question answer mode by media personnel’s attending the event.
During the earlier part of the day the entire team including Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor along with the cast of actors like Tusshar Kapoor and Sendhil Ramamurthy were put on one to one media interaction as per the producers. During the lunch hours the media from South Asian sector interacted with the crew and cast in a light manner.
The premier at the SVA Silas theatre was marked with the presence of the filmmaker Ekta Kapoor along with Tanuj Garg the CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK the twin directorial assets of the movie, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Tushar Kapoor the lead actors.
Apart from this other popular faces at the event included Mira Nair, Nandana Sen, Padma Lakshmi, Sarita Choudhury, Deepti Naval, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Rahul Bose and many others.
Shorr that got so much of lime light at the film festival is a portrait of the tinsel town Mumbai revolving around many newspaper hitting stories including the grand Ganpati festival which forms an essence of the place.
