| This HR Manager job is to be based in Batam on our clients shipyard and is paying circa $95k per annum. The company are a known offshore marine group specialising in the subsea and deep sea segment. They seek a full spectrum and generalist HR Manager to live on Batam Island and manage 1000 Indonesian staff members alongside the 70 skilled expats. Your housing requirements can be assisted if necessary. The role is a 5.5 day week. You must be able to communicate in both Bahasa and English, have plant experience and exposure with a unionised environment. You will also know local labour regulations and international practices. The HR Manager would report into the local GM and indirectly to HR VP in Singapore. You will be an operational manager capable of admin, security and payroll with the ability to handle potentially difficult situations.
