Hotel Glavovic is one of the rare three-star hotels

"Landep News"
Hotel Glavovic is one of the rare three-star hotels on the island of Lopud. This car-free island is just a 40-minutes ferry ride away from Dubrovnik, Croatia. Completely renovated in 2004, this imposing stone building occupies a picturesque location at the heart of the horseshoe-shaped bay on the island’s southwest coast. Dating back to 1927, it stands as the oldest family-run hotel on the colorful waterfront promenade, and indeed on the whole island.

The hotel is a comfortable blend of genuine hospitality and stylish waterfront accommodation. Its central position offers easy access to the island’s wide selection of bars, restaurants and beaches. It has 12 brightly and comfortable guestrooms and two larger apartments. Each room is individually air-conditioned and features satellite TV and radio, Internet connection and a dedicated telephone extension.

The hotel’s traditional restaurant has one of the best and longest established culinary reputations on an island. Hotel guests enjoy a choice selection of freshly grilled fish and shellfish, succulent cuts of meals paired with vegetarian platters. With a diverse menu of activities that ranged from leisurely sea-kayaking to beach volleyball, diving and fishing, Lopud offers something for each and every different taste.
