Said Rodriguez: “Forget who we’re playing, you can’t have teams be so comfortable against us. I thought tonight was a good way to answer back and answer the call because the last three games at home was very embarrassing for us and it’s really not acceptable for us to play that type of baseball.” The two sides meet again on Sunday at the same Yankee Stadium.
Houston Astros 4 – 11 Atlanta Braves
Atlanta have extended their winning streak to four wins after easing past bottom Astros on Friday at the Minute Maid Park where Houston were given no chance to take the lead. The visitors started the game with a five-point trot which included a couple of homeruns hit by Freeman and Gonzalez in the third inning.
