The first solar eclipse

This year’s first solar eclipse will occur on Tuesday. NASA has said that the partial solar eclipse will only be visible in parts of North Africa, Europe and central Asia.
Sources have said that the eclipse will not be visible in Malasia. On Tuesday, the penumbral shadow will first touch the Earth’s surface, in Northern Algeria at 2:40 pm.
The partial eclipse will be visible in Western Europe as the shadow travels to the east during sunrise. And during sunset the eclipse will be visible in Kazakhstan, central Russia, northwest China and Mongolia.
This eclipse is one of the four eclipse scheduled this year. The next eclipse will occur on June 1st and can be seen from northern region of America, eastern region of Asia and some of the islands of north Atlantic. After the second one the third and fourth will occur on 1st July and 25th November 2011, which will be visible from Indian ocean islands and some regions of Africa and Australia respectively.
