Hunter S. Thompson, the renegade American journalist, wrote a novel entitled “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” Today, when you book a holiday to Vegas there is little chance of experiencing the type of fear and loathing the counter-culture icon was speaking of. However, the two ideas still exist in this glamorous amusement park in the desert. You will have the fear of losing money when you are gambling, especially if you encounter an unfavourable stretch on the roulette wheel. At the same time, you will loathe the person standing next to you who wins the jackpot. This is Las Vegas philosophy. Las Vegas is one of the most surreal places in the world to explore. However, when hotels are this large and luxurious simply finding your way outside can be difficult.
