Technology news just in! The Samsung Galaxy Note is set to arrive in the UK and US in 2012, with Europe getting it first in the early stages of Q1 2012 after Slashgear confirmed the Samsung Galaxy Note release date. Unveiled at IFA 2011 last week, the Samsung Galaxy Note packs a display size of 5.3 inches and interestingly Android Gingerbread, making it a true upgrade to the original Galaxy Tab if not a little smaller.
The shipping dates of the Galaxy Note come from our friends over at Slashgear and taking their info in to account, a January launch of the Note should be expected by would be consumers which means it’ll be missing out on Christmas unfortunately. The details revealed by Slashgear haven’t been denied nor confirmed officially by Samsung however we have no doubt to their authenticity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is an interesting product indeed. Packing a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, the Note is more powerful than an iPad 2 on paper and packs a 5.3-inch Super-AMOLED display with a WXGA (1280×800) resolution display. This product has been created to fill a gap – or blur the line – between the tablet and the smartphone, enabling consumers to have the best of both worlds.
