The Tata Housing Development Company, on Thursday announced the beginning of a hill township at Vasind situated in Thane district named as New Haven. According to a press release, the project is spread across 33 acres and will provide 1,252 apartments of 2 BHK and 3 BHK.
The cost of the homes will be starting from 15 lakh up to 30 lakh. The Tata Housing Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Brotin Banerjee said, “With a shortfall of around 26-million dwelling units, there is a lot of untapped demand for quality affordable housing projects across India. The launch of New Haven is in line with our expansion plans in the affordable housing space.”
Sources say that, Tata’s new project is situated, giving Mumbai a scope of growth. The New Haven is said to have the latest facilities and international designs.
According to the release, the New Haven is situated very close to Shahpur and Kalyan- Bhiwandi junctions and is at a 1.5 km distance from Vasind railway station.
