Chrome OS first notebook

Google unleashes the first Chrome OS enabled notebook, Cr-48. However the Cr-48 according to sources, it will not be available in retail. It will be only available through pilot program launched by Google.
Those who will apply for the notebook will also be expected to send regular feedbacks on their experience with the notebook and the Chrome OS. Moreover the program will be only available in the US.
The Cr-48 is having an interesting hardware with a 21.1 inch full size keyboard and a large touchpad along with integrated pad buttons. The device features 8 hours of battery life with 8 days of standby, 3G support, flash storage, webcam for video chat and WiFi
The notebook takes just 10 seconds to boot and will be ready to use. The notebook has a ARM based processor and consumes almost no power. The device has a matt finish and is a complete silent device with low thermals.
