Queen Finally Taking Notice of Robert J. Moore

An American who wrote hundreds of letters to the Queen of England became so obsessed with her that he bought himself a spot on the St James island so that he may be in the sight of the Buckingham Palace, hoping that the Queen would notice him.
His presence went unnoticed for some reason, until a tree surgeon unveiled his remains three years after he died. Details about his life emerged last week, as the coroner’s office made some investigations into his death.
The Telegraph, which has documented the case, compares the life of this man to the obsession of a Frenchwoman, who was so captivated by the King George V that she thought that the king was sending her messages when he was moving the curtains of his residence.
The man was named Robert James Moore and was in late sixties when he died after sending hundreds of “strange and offensive” letters to the Queen of England for 15 years. Some of these letters were as long as 600 pages. He had also posted a copy of his passport and boxes that were falsely warning of the presence of dangerous substances in them.
The police officers were shocked to see that of all the places he could have chosen to bring himself into the Queen’s sight he chose the one that rendered him totally invisible.
In 2007, the man moved from the United States to the United Kingdom after he had some problems with driving while drinking.
His body was found after March 15, when a royal gardener came to clear the leaves and cut some trees, and thus he found his remains.
It is considered that the major members of the royal house were totally unaware of his presence, given that the royal mail is being sorted and screened, and anything suspicious was forwarded to the Met Pol.
He was not even known among the Fixated Threats Assessment Centre, which was on high alert in April, when the royal wedding of the heir apparent was celebrated.
The Wildfire Office visits St James island three times a year, while the prunes are being checked once in two years. It is during these checks that the body was found.
The fascination of the Frenchwoman for the King George V created the Clerambault syndrome, which refers to the delusion of an average person that he/she is loved by a famous person.
