After a long controversy over playing the lead role in the ambitious project of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, the movie is all set to now go on floors. Actress Kareena Kapoor has finally been convinced to play the role and the shooting of the movie will begin in the month of November 2011.
After the announcement of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy, the project had to be wrapped up and Bhandarkar then moved on to Kareena, who actually was the original choice of the makers. Earlier, certain reports had suggested that there were some issues related to payment between Kareena and the makers, which has now been sorted out.
The ‘Chameli’ actress also had some issues with the intimate scenes in the movie and had asked to make certain changes. On the other hand, Madhur wasn’t so keen on making any major changes as it was already changed for Aishwarya before.
The news has also been confirmed by sources close to the production unit, who said that they would begin shooting in November. Even Kareena had agreed and said that they have worked out something for her and an official announcement would be made soon.
