After the controversial doctor at the AIIMS was reinstated by the authorities on the demand of the resident doctors, the child’s father has said that he would file a complaint against the Investigating Officer for biased investigations. Dr Shejoy Joshua was reinstated, after he was fired for charges of molesting a seven year old child under his treatment.
The lawyer of the child’s family, Satish Sharma has said that the AIIMS has reinstated the doctor only on the basis of the preliminary investigations. Sharma added that they are filing a complaint against the Investigating Officer.
On 13th March, the family of the boy had moved to the metropolitan magistrate court in Saket, while they had alleged irregularities in the investigations. But the case was dismissed as the statement of the boy was already recorded before the station house officer Hauz Khas.
The seven year old boy was taking treatment under Dr. Joshua for neuro problems. The boy’s father is now determined to file a case alleging that how the doctor was reinstated before the closure of the report.
