It’s time to go back to school! Apple has announced the much anticipated Back to School offer for students. In this annual offer, Apple is offering a School Card worth $100 to the buyers, which can be used on the Mac App Store, App Store, iTunes Store, and iBookstore.
This student special offer is only available on selected Mac computers, which includes the MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac. And of course, students can purchase all these models at discounted price.
The Back to School offer is starting from today itself i.e. June 16, 2011 and will remain open till September 20, 2011. There are three ways to grab your Mac along with this offer. Students can buy any of the aforementioned computers from Apple Store, Apple Online Store and Apple’s Campus Store. However, if you’re going to place your order through campus store, you will need to submit your claim through online process. Please note that this offer is applicable to the U.S. students. Apple has also launched similar offer in U.K., where students will get a free gift card worth £65. If you’re living in France, you will receive 75 € gift card from Apple team.
Since last few years, Apple is trying this new marketing strategy to sell their products to the consumers in ‘students’ category. School and college students have also responded pretty well to these promotional offers.
It’s always good to see that companies like Apple and Microsoft are taking such initiatives to expand the reach of computers and technology to students.
