Countdown for IITF 2010 ends this Sunday

The countdown for the India International Trade Fair 2010 finally ended on this Sunday as Mr. Anand Sharma, the Union Commerce and Trade Minister inaugurated the grand IITF 2010 on this Sunday.
He specifically stressed on the theme of Energy-Technology and Eco-Technology.
“It is clean technology, green technology have assumed a special place in the planning, in policy formulation, in investments in innovation, in research worldwide.
India has also embraced it, it is country conscience of the changes that are taking place I the environment around us in the climate. India has the fifth largest installed capacity of renewable energies in the world,” said Anand Sharma.
Unlike last year, where the focus was on China, this year the focus is exclusively on Energy-Technology and Eco-Technology. In India, every year, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), hosts this annual trade fair.
The Fair has been organised at the Pragati Maidan. The partner states of this year of the IITF are Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan and Mharashtra.ITPO is the nodal agency of the Central Government of India.
The pavilions of Mahashtra and Rajasthan were inaugurated by the newly appointed CM Mr. Prithviraj Chavan along with Rajashtan Chief Minsiter Ashok Gehlot.
Mrs. Sheila Dixit, the CM of Delhi inaugurated the Delhi pavilion and visited all the stalls thereafter.
After the CWG, the ITPO surely had taken few lessons as they have incorporated all the latest technological security systems for the safety of the people. The fair would be open to common public form 19th as for these four days; they are open only to businessmen for an exclusive interaction amongst the manufacturers, exhibitors, traders and buyers.
The estimated budget of this Fair is calculated around one billion dollars. The Fair would be continued till 27th of this month.
The Trade Fair is always a huge craze amongst not only the tradesmen but it extends to all the people of India as it showcases the veracity and the culture of Indian cultures. Every state represents and showcases the essence of the roots and the authentic cultural values.
