In an interview with De Telegraaf, Steve Wozniak – the co-founder of Apple, has said something that many iPhone lovers or Apple fanboys would never want to hear about the company. Steve said that Android will become the top smartphone platform in the world.
He believes that Android has the potential to beat iOS in all the fields, including quality and features. Many smartphone manufacturers are using Android OS in their products to provide more options and choices to the end users, and this is one of the most favorable things for Android platform.
Steve also revealed that Apple had developed a secret phone with a well known Japanese consumer electronic company, but things didn’t go as per their plans, and later on, they shelved the entire project. After few years, Apple launched their first *magical* smartphone device, iPhone, in 2007.
At the end, he also shared his thoughts on Nokia’s current status in the telecom market. Steve thinks that Nokia guys should develop youth oriented phones, which might help bring back the old glorious days for the company.
Steve’s thoughts on Android platform’s future are quite understandable. Apple is limited to just one device and one operating system, whereas Android is growing very fast with different devices.
